Pikes Peak Lodge offers clean, comfortable, and convenient lodging for military personnel, families, and authorized guests. Whether you’re here on official travel, PCS orders, or leisure, you’ll find a variety of accommodations to suit your needs, including standard rooms, suites, and pet-friendly options.

Rooms & Reservations
Making a Reservation:
To book a stay at Pikes Peak Lodge, please contact the Front Desk directly at 719-556-7851. Reservations are accepted for official travel (TDY/PCS) and leisure stays, based on availability and current policy guidelines.
Room Rates:
Room rates are based on the authorized government per diem for the Colorado Springs area and may vary depending on room type and season. For the most accurate and up-to-date rates, please contact the front desk.
Guest Room Types:
Pikes Peak Lodge offers a variety of accommodations to meet the needs of both official and leisure travelers:

Visiting Airmen’s Quarters (VAQ): Designed primarily for non-resident students of the Forest L. Vosler NCO Academy. Includes private and shared-bath options.

Visiting Quarters (VQ): Approximately 325 sq. ft. of living space, ideal for standard short-term stays.

Temporary Lodging Facilities (TLF): One- and two-bedroom units equipped with a kitchen, living room, and bathroom.

TLF1 (One-Bedroom): Accommodates up to 4 guests.

TLF2 (Two-Bedroom): Accommodates up to 7 guests.

Inbound PCS families (Priority 1) are authorized up to 30 days based on availability. Outbound PCS families may stay up to 10 days. Extension requests must be submitted in writing and are subject to approval by Lodging Management.
Eligibility:
Lodging is available to active duty, reserve, guard, retirees, DoD civilians, and other eligible patrons. Eligibility will be confirmed at check-in.
Space-A Stays:
Space-Available (Space-A) reservations may be accepted within 30 days of arrival, based on occupancy. Contact the Front Desk for current availability and eligibility requirements.
Payment Methods:
Most major credit cards are accepted. Guests on official travel may use their Government Travel Card (GTC), if authorized.
Distinguished Visitors (DVs):
General Officers (O-7 and above) requiring lodging accommodations should coordinate directly with the HQ Space Operations Command Protocol Office during duty hours:

Check-In, Check Out, & Front Desk Hours
Front Desk Hours:
The front desk is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to assist you at any time during your stay.
Check-In Time:
Check-in begins at 2 p.m.
Check-Out Time:
Guests must check out by 11 a.m. and return all room keys at that time.
Early Check-In / Late Check-Out:
Requests are accommodated based on availability. Please contact the front desk in advance to check availability.
Policies
Pet-Friendly Lodging
Designated pet-friendly rooms are available for guests traveling with animals. Service animals are permitted in all lodging areas in accordance with ADA regulations.

A $10 nightly fee applies per unit, with a maximum of two pets allowed per room.

Pet owners must sign a Pet Policy Agreement and provide current vaccination records at check-in.
-
Housekeeping staff will enter the room daily to assess cleanliness and identify any potential damage.
A $250 cleaning fee will be assessed for any violation of the pet policy.
For added convenience, a list of local kennels is available in the in-room information book and at the front desk.
Parking Information
Each guest room includes access to one designated parking space in the lot adjacent to your quarters.

For additional vehicles, please visit the Front Desk for assistance with overflow parking.

Parking on grass or unpaved surfaces is strictly prohibited.

Unauthorized vehicles may be towed at the direction of Security Forces.
Our Smoke-Free Commitment
All guest rooms are designated non-smoking to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for all guests.

A $150 cleaning fee will be assessed for any violation of this policy.

Violations may also result in removal from on-base lodging.

Smoking and tobacco use are only permitted in designated outdoor areas, in accordance with the 21st Space Wing base-wide policy.

Each lodging facility has clearly marked “Designated Smoking Area” signs.
Our Commitment to Guest Property
Guests are responsible for safeguarding their personal belongings during their stay.

In-room safes are provided at no additional cost for your convenience and peace of mind.

The lodging facility is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

Guest Services & Safety
Wake-Up Services:
Each guest room includes an alarm clock and access to the automated wake-up call system via the in-room telephone. For assistance, contact the Front Desk.
Housekeeping During Inclement Weather:
If weather conditions impact operations:

Limited service (trash and towels only) may be provided if time permits.

If the base is closed, housekeeping will only service check-outs for scheduled arrivals starting at 12 p.m.

In-house guests may not receive service that day. Extra linens and amenities are available at the Front Desk.
Lost or Misplaced Keys:
Report lost or misplaced keys to the Front Desk. A replacement key will be issued upon verification of identification.
Do Not Disturb Signs:
To ensure privacy, place the “Do Not Disturb” sign on your door. If you wish to receive housekeeping service, please remove the sign by 1 p.m.
Rooms must be visually checked every 72 hours in accordance with Air Force policy.

Safety Procedures
Evacuation:
In the event of an emergency, exit your room calmly and safely. Move at least 150 feet away from the building. Do not re-enter until cleared by base safety personnel.
Fire Safety:
For your safety and that of other guests, please follow these basic fire prevention guidelines:

Smoking is not permitted in guest rooms, and open flames such as candles or incense are prohibited.

Never leave heated appliances (e.g., irons, coffee pots, hair dryers) unattended, and do not store hot items inside drawers or cabinets.
-
Use only approved electrical appliances; multi-plug adapters, power strips, and flammable materials are not permitted.
If a fire alarm sounds, evacuate the building immediately and do not return until authorized by emergency personnel.
