Kids Understanding Deployment Operations (K.U.D.O.S.)
Calling all military kids and families! Join us for K.U.D.O.S. (Kids Understanding Deployment Operations), a fun, hands-on event where kids can explore what deployments are all about and learn how the military works to support missions around the world.
Through interactive activities, games, and engaging lessons, children will discover what happens during deployments, why readiness is important, and how military families play an important role in supporting our service members. It’s a great opportunity to ask questions, build confidence, and connect with other military families in a welcoming environment.
Who: Available service members, dependents, retirees, and civilians
When: August 22, 2026, at 8:00 a.m.
Where: USAFA Youth Center & Jack’s Valley
Cost: Free!
Come learn, explore, and have fun together while gaining a better understanding of military life and the important mission behind every deployment!
