Private Organizations

Private Organizations (POs) are self-sustaining special interest groups formed by individuals acting outside their official government duties. Authorized by the Installation Commander, these organizations provide opportunities for Peterson SFB personnel to connect through shared interests and contribute positively to the base community. Private Organizations must meet established requirements to operate on the installation.

Getting Started

Private Organizations must receive authorization from the Installation Commander before operating on Peterson SFB. Unofficial organizations with $1,000 in assets over a three-month period are required to become a registered Private Organization.

To begin the approval process, submit the required organizational documents to the Private Organization Monitor.
