Beginner Mountain Biking

Build your confidence on the trails at Ute Valley Park with a Professional Mountain Bike Instructor Association (PMBIA) Level 1 coach. This beginner-friendly trip focuses on fundamental mountain biking skills and drills, with an introduction to beginner-friendly trail riding. Learn proper techniques, improve your bike handling, and gain confidence riding safely on the trail.
Cost: $50/person. Includes transportation, bike, helmet, and guide instruction.
Restrictions: Must be 12 years or older. Must be able to ride and steer a bike on gravel.
Location: Ute Valley Park. Participants will meet at and depart from at Outdoor Recreation, Bldg. 640.
Sign-up deadline: November 13, 2026 by 12 p.m.
Cancellation deadline: November 6, 2026 by 5 p.m.
Participants can come to the Outdoor Recreation Building to RSVP with the front desk or call 719-556-4867 to RSVP over the phone.
