AIARE Avy Level 1 Course

Gain essential skills to travel safely and confidently in the winter backcountry. This two-day course, with an online session on the evening of February 4th, combines classroom instruction and hands-on field training led by certified AIARE* instructors. You’ll learn how to evaluate avalanche risks, interpret snow and weather conditions, and make informed decisions for yourself and your group. Ideal for backcountry skiers, snowboarders, snowshoers, and mountaineers wanting to elevate their winter adventures.
